iTunes App Store with 1 Billion Downloads
In less than an year since iTunes App Store started, Apple already have a reason to celebrate. It is the fact there are one billion downloaded apps – free and paid, downloaded by iPhone and iPod touch users from all over the world. But one kid has even more reasons to celebrate and that is 13 year old Connor Malkeyhi who downloaded the one billion app. Apple are preparing a nice surprise for him – an iTunes certificate worth of $10,000, music player iPod touch, network backup system Time Capsule and a brand new computer MacBook Pro. The lucky app is called Bump and it is developer by Bump Technologies.

Wall Street Journal App for iPhone
Wall Street Journal has released an iPhone app for free, while their web version costs $103 per year, even on Amazon’s Kindle the Journal is $9.99 a month.
The WSJ’s app, though, prominently features videos and podcasts. One thing that’s missing: a search function. It does, however, include the other parts of the WSJ Digital Network like Barron’s and AllThingsD.

Next iPhone is Expected in June
Between 5 and 6 million pieces of new Apple iPhone will launch in June, analysts from the company Kaufman Bros say.
Apple has interests to introduce the new smartphone earlier to the market as expected decline in sales of iPhone 3G after June, which may worsen the financial results of the company.
Apple engineers are currently working simultaneously on three new versions of the iPhone, say from Kaufman Bros.
Currently there are scarce information however only two out of the upcoming models. One of them will provide more efficient processor and more time to work on battery.
The second model is expected to be a budget version of the iPhone with limited functionality.
Information on prices of the new iPhone is not yet available.
Meanwhile, Boy Genius Report site published screen from the beta version of iPhone OS 3, which adds new features such as voice control.
In the options menu there is a new section Accessibility, where they collected all the characteristics that facilitate the use of the device by people with physical problems.
